Can go through life feeling alone in it

  Foolishly like we’re only going through it

This though is simply not true

  Question is what do we do

We MUST reach out

  Humbly though avoiding a shout

   Finding someone

     Sharing our pain

Our hesitation is what can we gain

  Aware that there is no quick fix

   Asking ourselves why add to the mix

Forcing ourselves to seek connection

  An outside perspective giving direction

It’s up to us if we take it to heart

 or foolishly pulling further apart

    I’ve walked alone

     Boy does it suck

I sink further and further into the muck

  Once I finally stop the fight

Remembering simply to keep Jesus in sight

  Seek seek seek the connection

Changing your life to a better direction
